Perun Roadmap 2026 Update: New Game Concepts, Strategic Changes, and What's Next

As we step into 2026, the Perun Games team is excited to share our updated roadmap.

Where We Are Now

Battle Board continues to grow its player base with regular balance updates and new seasonal content. The rock-paper-scissors meets turn-based strategy formula has proven compelling, and we are focused on deepening that experience with new unit abilities and ranked play.

Shoot and Drive development is progressing well. The arena combat racing concept resonates strongly with our playtests - the combination of high-speed racing and vehicle weaponry creates genuinely unpredictable matches every time.

Strategic Changes for 2026

After careful evaluation, we are shifting our approach in two key areas: Mobile-first for Battle Board - prioritizing the mobile client to reach a wider audience while keeping cross-platform play intact. Early Access for Shoot and Drive - rather than a full launch, we will release in Early Access to gather community feedback earlier in the cycle.

New Game Concepts

Alongside our existing projects, the team has been prototyping two new concepts. Both are firmly in the genres our players love - competitive, skill-based, with strong replayability. Expect teasers later this year.

Community and Communication

We know we have been quieter than ideal. In 2026 we are committing to monthly developer updates across our Discord and social channels, along with regular playtest invitations for our community members.
